St. Joseph Catholic School Council hosted a Mardi Gras Gala on Saturday, February 22, 2020, as a new spring fundraiser for the school. 130 tickets were sold for the Gala, and Lyles Lashley prepared a cajun feast of red beans and rice and shrimp etouffee. Dinner was followed by a small floor show and auction of two items: dinner with Father Klein (won by Don Mason) and a VIP table for the 2021 Mardi Gras Gala (won by Heather Panning). Following the auction, attendees put on their dancing shoes to the sounds of Encore Sound.

Raising $7400, the Mardi Gras Gala is to be counted as a true success thanks to Meredith Joiner, Jennifer Klepper, Lyles Lashley, Tenelle Nuest, Marlene Clayton, and Father Klein. Check back for more pictures soon!
