On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, St. Joseph Catholic Church hosted their fourth Community Forum with a presentation by the Family Crisis Center, Inc., and the 20th Judicial District Juvenile Services titled Human Trafficking 101. Marissa Woodmansee, Jamie Fager, and Maria Gamez presented to over 30 attendees and emphasized the realities of human trafficking, even in Kansas. 

Members of the greater Ellinwood community attended, including representatives from Ellinwood Police Department and the high school PSR students. The purpose of the St. Joseph Community Forums is to provide an opportunity for education and awareness for the entire community. Previous forums included topics on aging, social media, and suicide awareness.
