The Most Reverend John B. Brungardt, the bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Dodge City, confirmed twelve Saint Joseph Catholic School students at a 10:00am Saturday morning Mass.  Father Terrance Klein, pastor of Saint Joseph, concelebrated the Mass.  A very large congregation of friends and family was present for the event.

The students were presented to the bishop by their catechist, Laura Schlessiger.  She testified that they had completed their preparation for this important sacrament and were ready to receive the sacrament.

 

Altar Servers were Bryce Williams, Lexi Thomas, Charlie Schlessiger, and Eleanor Joiner.  All, siblings of the confirmati.

Confirmatae Jesslyn Klepper and Avery Panning were cantors for the Mass along with Marlene Clayton. 

Lectors were Jake Schlessiger and Lauren Rugan.  Remi Thomas read the Prayers of the Faithful.

As per tradition, each candidate selected an adult Catholic who exemplies the faith, to be their sponsor.  Below are the candidates with their sponsors names to the left.
