 The flooring project planned for this summer at Saint Joseph Catholic School has been completed in time for the start of the Fall semester.  This project was the second half of a renewal program that began last summer with installing a new epoxy floor on the ground level of the school.

This summer, the upstairs hall ways was recarpeted, and the carpet was removed from the two staircases and replaced with a synthetic material, which is easier to clean, longer lasting, and yet still provides the traction wanted on stairs.

We are still awaiting the installation of two emergency exit windows, which will be installed in the kindergarten and first grade classroom and well as the dining room.  These rooms are on the ground floor and can only currently be exited through the main hallway. 

The flooring was paid for by donations.  We are still receiving donations for the egress windows. Below you can see before and after pictures of the upstairs hallway, the staircases, as well as a photo of the faculty workroom, which, along with Mrs. Thomas's office received new carpeting.
