Bishop John Balthazar Brungardt of the Catholic Diocese of Dodge City confirmed twenty young people at Saint Joseph Church in Ellinwood, Kansas.  The church was full on that Saturday morning, given the size of the class.  Doctor Catherine Strecker prepared the class for Confirmation, and she introduced them to the bishop when it was time to confer the sacrament.  

 

Welcoming Bishop Brungardt, Father Terrance Klein, the pastor of Saint Joseph's, noted that it was already the bishop's third visit to the cluster in as many months.

 

Altar Servers for the Mass were siblings of those confirmed.  Drew Heinz, Cooper Gunn, & Brandon Williams.  Ayla Ritchie, Eleanor Joiner, and Madisyn Schloctermeier were cantors.
