St. Joseph Catholic Church is beginning Totus Tuus on Monday, July 8. Students from St. Joseph, Immaculate Conception, and Holy Family parishes are participating. Elementary students will meet each day during the week from 9 am to 3 pm, and middle and high school students will meet each evening, Monday – Thursday, 7 pm to 9 pm. Registration will be accepted at the door, so if you have not had a chance to sign-up your child or grandchild, you may bring them to the Parish Center Monday morning and complete the registration at that time. Students are asked to bring a lunch each day one box of snacks to share for the week.
Totus Tuus team members will be arriving in Ellinwood on Saturday, July 6, and plan to join us during our weekend masses. Please welcome our visitors and pray for them as they are leading our youth on their journey in Christ this week.
Further, the parish communities are invited to participate in the following activities:
- Mass will be held daily at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church
- A community potluck will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 5:30 pm, in the St. Joseph Parish Center. Families are asked to bring their favorite potluck dish. Drinks and tableware will be provided.
- Adoration will be held at St. Joseph Catholic School on Thursday afternoon beginning at approximately 2 pm.
On behalf of the youth members attending the inaugural offering of Totus Tuus, the planning committee of Marlene Clayton, Angie Hicks, Amy Hammeke, Ginger Thill, Lori Steffan, and Stephanie Joiner would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the many families who have pledged their support in the form lodging, meals, financial donations, and prayers. If you would like to offer support, please contact any one of the listed committee members.
