St. Joseph Catholic School is excited to announce the arrival of two new teachers, Kiley Klug and Melody Fisher! Local to our communities, these women have wonderful experience in the education field and are excited to join St. Joseph’s teaching brigade. Please join us in congratulating them on their new adventure for Christ!
Kiley Klug currently resides in Odin and attends Holy Family Catholic Church with her husband Gavin and three sons Owen (11), Dexter (9), and Blake (6). Kiley grew up in Great Bend and attended Barton County Community College and Emporia State University, where she graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with a middle level English/Language Arts certification. She taught 7th grade English/Language Arts at Great Bend Middle School for 6 years until her family needed her at home. After 11 years in the home, she is excited to dive back into the world of education. She enjoys coaching her kids’ youth activities, playing tennis, walking, and spending time with friends and extended family.
Melody Fisher is a resident of Holyrood, KS, and has been a substitute teacher for USD 112 (Central Plains) and USD 327 (Ellsworth-Kanopolis-Geneseo) for many years. Melody received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing with a major in International Business Administration from K-State University. Along with experience in public schools and marketing, graphic design, and promotional activities, Melody brings a knowledge of the Spanish language from when she studied at the Universidad de Málaga in Ronda, Spain. In her free time, Melody enjoys family activities, fitness, gardening, art, music, baking, reading, and sewing.
