Charleen Hekele has been a part of Holy Family Parish in Odin for many years, but this is the year she decided to make that official by being baptized as a Catholic. Most people call her Char, and she is married to Beau Hekele. They have three children: Brooklynn, Aiden, and Lynden.

Char enjoys baking and cooking (especially for BBQ contests), and she runs her own daycare business. When free, the entire family loves spending time at the lake! Char will be baptized into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil at Saint Joseph’s in Ellinwood, as all adult baptism take place at this time throughout the Church.

Part of what draws her to the faith is the desire to share this with her family. Her sponsor is Beau’s aunt, Kim Hekele. God bless you and your family, Char!
