Senior Brett Liebl, son of Todd and Carla Liebl, will graduate from Central Plains High School in May. He is involved in football, basketball, tennis, powerlifting, FFA, O-Club, National Honor Society and Student Council.

While at CPHS, Brett has earned many honors. As a Freshman, in 2016, he won State Tennis. His Junior year, he was the Mid-Winter Classic MVP, 2018 State Basketball Champion, and Sports in Kansas 2A Player of the Year Finalist. Brett’s Senior Year, he won 8-Man Football D1 State Championship, Sports in Kansas Defensive Player of the Year, and Top 100 Seniors. He will play in the 8-Man Div.1 West All-Star Game in June. Brett was also 2019 State Basketball Champion, Topeka Capital Journal All-State Top 10- Second Team, and Sports in Kansas Class 1A Player of the Year.

After Graduation, Brett plans on attending Fort Hays State University where he will major in Sport and Exercise Therapy. He plans to become a Physical Therapist. Brett enjoys sports and spending time with friends. His favorite memory is winning four state titles with his best friends. Brett said his Catholic faith has helped him understand the importance of family and friends, along with gaining confidence knowing God is by his side.

Brett has three brothers, Corey, Adam, Evan Liebl and sister in law, Gina Bogner Liebl. His is the grandson of Diane Zink and the late Virgil Zink and the late Lawrence and Mary Ann Liebl.
